Space Force Instructions
A step-by-step guide to scanning license plates and issuing tickets with the Space Force app.
Scanning Steps
1. Confirm you're in an AirGarage lot
Look around and make sure you're in an AirGarage parking lot with orange AirGarage signs before you begin scanning.
2. Select the lot on the map
In the Space Force app, select the parking lot you'd like to enforce on the map.
3. See Details, then Scan Now
Select "See Details" on the lot, then tap "Scan Now." You'll be directed to a screen with a camera.
4. Scan the license plate
Walk up to a vehicle and take a clear image of the license plate by pressing the "Scan" button.
5. Leave a ticket, or move on
Our system will prompt you to either leave a ticket or move on to the next car, based on whether the vehicle has an active paid session.
6. Double-check the plate before writing a ticket
Before leaving a ticket, pay close attention and make sure the license plate shown in the app is entered correctly. Our system sometimes mis-scans plates, and you'll need to manually correct them before proceeding to write a ticket.
